Wally Nason has been working in the world of music since high school where he began singing in choir and performing in musicals. After high school he was offered a full-ride voice scholarship at the University of Arizona where he finished his undergraduate music degree and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting. While at the U of A he performed in operas, directed choirs and worked as musical director for the Musical Theatre department.
He is a life-long Wildcat…Bear Down Arizona!!!

After college Wally worked as a public school music teacher and worship leader at Casas Adobes Baptist Church in Tucson. He then went on to be a producer/director and VP of The Continentals/Jeremiah People – a world-wide music missions organization where he traveled all over the world directing traveling performing groups and training domestic and international leaders to do the same. In 2003, Wally and Lori moved from Wally’s life-long home in the desert to Music City, USA. He started a management/development company – Nason Music Group – where he worked as an artist manager in the country and Christian music industries. Along with his friend and colleague, Keith Mohr, the very popular RISING STAR songwriter competition was created in Franklin and continues to be one of the most successful events in middle-Tennessee for songwriters.
His work with IndieHeaven, Embassy Music, Christian Artist’s Seminar, and the GMA made him a sought after consultant for new and talented independent artists from all over the country.
In 2010, Wally’s work with Blue Gate Musicals began. His first musical, Rock and the Redeemer, played for two summers at the Blue Gate Theater in Shipshewana, IN. Since then, he has written music for three more full length, Broadway-Style musicals that are currently playing in IN, OH, and PA. Next year Illinois will be the new home for Wally’s shows, with Florida in the near future and hopefully Broadway soon down the road. Over 250,000 people have seen his shows, The Confession, Half-Stitched and Josiah for President, over the last 5 years.

He has hosted and judged in the Miss Tennessee Pageant system and continues to coach contestants on occasion.
